Believe it or not, it wasn’t until I was 30 years old that I cared at all about politics. I often said that whoever were to be elected president would have no effect on my day-to-day life. From my teens throughout my 20s, there likely was some truth to that statement.
Though there have been major differences between our two political parties in the past, in the last 12 years the gap has grown tremendously. Whether you lean right or whether you lean wrong, I think we can agree here. Let me take you through how this president has differed from the last.
Immediately upon entering office, Biden shut down the Keystone pipeline due to environmental concerns, bringing heavy regulations to the industry to the point where we must rely on oil drilled an ocean away. The consequences are skyrocketing energy prices to heat our homes and fuel our vehicles. The cost of all goods goes up when the cost of transportation does. This adds up to thousands of dollars for all of us each year.
