The first three episodes of the Disney+ series, “Ms. Marvel,” will air on ABC on Saturday, August 5.
“Ms. Marvel,” a superhero coming-of-age series that was exclusively on Disney+, will be airing the entirety of the series on ABC between two dates, Saturday, August 5 (first three episodes) and Saturday, August, 12 (final three episodes) at 8 p.m. EST. Viewers looking to stream the series can do so by using FuboTV and DirecTV Stream or they can stream it now on Disney+. FuboTV and DirecTV both offer free trials for new users.
The series follows lead actress Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American living in Jersey City.
“A great student, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel,” Disney+ said. “But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school—that is, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life is easier with superpowers, right?”
The cast also includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha, according to Disney+.
