BOSTON — The Red Sox’s game against the Orioles on Saturday at Fenway Park is expected to start on time. First pitch is scheduled for 4:10 p.m.
The tarp is on the field at 1:40 p.m.
“We’ll be fine,” manager Alex Cora said. “Actually, in the 60s. So probably better than a few days (Opening Day) ago. That’s always a positive.”
The temperature at first pitch on Opening Day (Thursday) was 38 degrees.

The precipitation potential percentage Saturday drops to 17% at 4 p.m., per the National Weather Service. It then dips to 4% at 5 p.m. It is at 9% at 6 p.m., 17% at 7 p.m. and 16% at 8 p.m.
The Red Sox tweeted at 10:12 a.m.: “We are closely monitoring the forecast and rain is expected to move out of the area this afternoon. We are still scheduled for a 4:10pm ET first pitch at Fenway Park.”
