Norwood police officers exchanged shots with a suspect early Sunday morning when responding to a report of a domestic incident, according to a Facebook post from the department.
According to Norwood Police Department, a 911 caller on Folan Avenue requested help at 3:16 a.m. for a domestic incident.
As police arrived, they heard gunshots and saw a car coming toward them from the caller’s address. One officer fired their gun at the car, but it did not stop and fled the area.
Nobody was injured by any of the gunfire, police said.
“The information here is preliminary as we are in the very early stages of an investigation,” the department wrote.
