There was a $100,000 lottery winner on Thursday, and the winning ticket was bought at a Stop & Shop.
The prize was won in New Bedford playing the scratch ticket game “$15,000,000 Money Maker.”
Overall, there were 470 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 sold in Massachusetts on Thursday, including 11 in Springfield and 16 in Worcester.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $16.35 million, which was part of the game Megabucks Doubler. It was purchased at Cumberland Farms in Ware. There were also three $15 million prizes won in the commonwealth this year.
